Chakaura EVENT ACCOMODATIONS
#1. Auberge & Guest House
Double occupancy (queen size beds), suites are triple & quadruple occupancy.
SINGLE ROOM OCCUPANCY: We do have a few double beds (in guest house) with single occupancy at extra cost. Please inquire.
We reserve the right to book the accomodations for you we see fit but you can request something and if it is available we will do our best to accomodate you. No Guarantees. Last minute adjustments may be required to accomodate everyone so you must be flexible in this.
You may book with a roomate for shared occupancy but this must be done upon registration.

Terms & Conditions
The tenants agree to the following conditions:
- A 50% deposit is required to secure a reservation. We accept Visa ( 3% fee), e-transfer, cash or cheque. The balance amount is due1 week prior to activity. No refunds or transferables after deadline due date.
- Tenants are responsible for any damages and a deposit may be asked for before allowing tenants usage of facility.
- To leave the chalet/ room, at departure time, in the same condition as you found it on your arrival.
- No smoking inside the chalet or buildings (fees for cleaning is $ 200.00)
- No Pets allowed.
- Observe the fire ban posted by the Municipality.
- Swimming and boating is at your own risk and responsibility. Parents are responsible for their children’s safety. There are NO lifeguards at any time of the season. Life jackets are not provided.
- Quiet hour must be observed from 9:00 PM to 08:00 AM.
- Bed Linen and Towels are provided. Beach Towels are not provided.
- Cancellation policy; If you cancel a reservation 30 days or more prior to the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded, minus a $ 100.00 administration fee. If you cancel a reservation within 29 days of the arrival date, your deposit will NOT be refunded.
- Rates may change without notice.
Domaine Val Carroll, situated in the beautiful lower Laurentians of Quebec, offers a unique opportunity for observing Canadian wildlife in its natural habitat.
Over six hundred acres of woodlands, meadows, lakes, and groomed trails leading one away from the hectic life into peace and tranquility. Our lake is always inviting.
Chakaura & it’s events hosted by Michèle offers various types of accomodtions in conjunction with The Domaine Valcarroll from double and triple occupancy room rentals (these inlcude a private full bathroom), guest house rooms, as well as chalets for small to large groups with features such as whirlpools and refrigerators. Independent chalets accommodate up to 30 guests. The chalet’s are fully equiped.
For larger events we also offer camping. Please inquire.
LOCATION
Domaine Val Carroll is situated less than 90 minutes from Montreal or Ottawa and 40 minutes from Mont Tremblant.
Val Carroll property extends to the Rouge River, famous for white-water rafting.

Separated from each other, by mature trees, the location guarantees quietness and privacy.Each Chalet fronts our private lake.
Excellent swimming and boating. Location guarantees quietness and privacy. This four Season Paradise with the surrounding hills, valleys and meadows are perfect for the many km of walking and cross country ski trails.
Access within 20 min. walk to the Rouge River, famous for White Water Rafting, provides superb swimming and fishing. Within Domain Val Carroll, it can be reached, either by car or walking trail to on-site activities organised by Chakaura™.
